British producer Jonny Cade has already graced a number of notable labels in his time, not least 2020 Vision, Moodmusic and Zombie Soundsystem .
On his debut for the always on-point Swiss imprint, Morris Audio , who gives us a keen glimpse into his house-focused sensibilities, as he serves up a sumptuous three-tracker courtesy of the quite expertly named Atrocious Focus EP.
Make no mistake, however, this effort is most definitely focused – and it's focused towards the floor at that.
The EP's opening gambit, the brilliantly full-on ''Made Me Wait'', sees the producer weave a sound that's brimming with zest thanks to its uplifting piano chords and a rich series of twinkling melodies which tug at the heartstrings.
''Love Baby'' is another that's full of cosmic goodness, with Cade's production nous very much coming to the fore once again.
Culminating matters is Music Is Love boss Oli Furness , who reinterprets the latter and turns it into an even more manic monster.
Fans of peak-time fare are sure to savour this one in their droves.
